Re: [5x11] Swan Song Discussion

Also, at the beginning of the season, Regina couldn't use the wand because she wasn't EVIL enough... Did the writers think we would be dumb enough to forget that just because they give Zelina a throwaway line about Regina not being "powerful" enough? Since when is self-esteem a substitute...

Re: [5x10] Broken Heart Discussion

[ Rant ] @Ctrent: Why are you even watching this show at this point? Just watch something else that does appeal to you, nobody is pointing a gun at your head to watch this show which you obviously hate now anyway, so why do it? Spare yourself the torture and watch something else. Like the Librarian...

Re: [5x10] Broken Heart Discussion

Ah, the crap fest known as the "Dark Swan" story arc. And I thought this show couldn't sink any lower. It did.

Re: [5x08] Birth Discussion

I can't believe that Regina was okay with having Emma use her magic to save Robin a few episodes ago, but said saving Killian was a bad idea. If Emma had tried to save Killian the same way she had saved Robin, Regina would have been okayed with that. But Emma couldn't save Killian that way. So, she...

I rather enjoyed it, especially after the convoluted plotting of "Birth".

Due to its contrived writing, a lot of people - including critics - didn't get "LOST".

Re: [5x05] Dreamcatcher Discussion

The scene with Daniel was so heartbreaking but I am also glad that the horrible pain she's been carrying for years has subsided thanks to Robin. Speaking of him, his character has so much potential and I am sick and tired seeing him sit there totally unused. I am glad Emma could see what Regina had...

Re: [5x06] The Bear and The Bow Discussion

"After what your daughter did to me, it's the least you could do." Didn't Merida already forgive Emma back in FTL? This response seems like a continuity fail. Merida forgave Emma a bit too easily, if you want my opinion. Perhaps Kitsis and Horowitz realized this. While I liked the Merida ...

Re: [5x05] Dreamcatcher Discussion

Parents break their childrens' hearts all the time. I get that it was wrong, but the big thing that makes this different in my eyes is that Emma could undo it. After the darkness was removed, she could come clean with Henry and hopefully, he could repair his relationship with Violet. Emma could com...

Re: [5x05] Dreamcatcher Discussion

Cora dint have a heart. She never had real love for Regina until she got her heart back. so no I dont think she was capable of remorse Yes, she did. Cora has always loved Regina. Without her heart, she was not very good at expressing this. A few of the mid-Season 2 episodes left clues of Cora's fee...

Re: [5x05] Dreamcatcher Discussion

Loved the episode. She was right when she told Henry that "he didn't fail her." Most people would've never thought she would manipulate him though. Emma may have "pulled a Cora," but she felt bad about it afterward. That still makes her better than Cora ever was. Did Emma really...

Re: End Use of LIGHT Magic/DARK Magic Labels

The notion that Darkness= Evil and Light= Good existed long before racism, so, CTrent's argument is moot, regardless. I guess that would depend on one's definition of racism but that isn't a discussion which belongs here. ;) Fact is, I agree that racism can be read into everything that someone want...

Re: [5x04] The Broken Kingdom Discussion

Give me something memorable interaction between Robin and Henry. Why is this important for this particular episode? And why now? Personally, I didn't think that Robin was easily manipulated but in the end, he's all about doing the right thing. It might make him a bit unrelateable for us - I mean, h...

Re: [5x04] The Broken Kingdom Discussion

It's hard to buy Robin Hood as a potential step-father to Henry when we barely see them interact, and there are scenes like this between Killian and Henry.

He has his own son and unborn child to think about at the moment.

Lancelot is still alive. So that mean Cora never killed him in the first place. When will Emma stop wearing those Goth clothes? It's not really necessary, while she is in Storybrooke? And why is her hair and skin white? Rumpelstiltskin wore nice suits and wasn't gold skinned while he was in Storybro...

Re: [5x02] The Price Discussion

Why is Emma walking around with pale hair, pale skin and pale eyes while she is in Storybrooke; when Rumpelstilstkin had looked perfectly normal when he was "the Dark One"? :shrug2: Come to think of it, Archie/Jiminy Cricket never resorted back to the form of a cricket after magic was rele...

Rumple killed his father.

Rumple killed his father to save Belle and the town.

Emma has killed Cruella who threatened Henry.

She murdered Cruella before becoming "the Dark One".
